Everyday this week I'm answering the question I often get asked, "Who would you have photograph your own wedding?" Over the years, I've had the privilege of developing an eye for what I want (and want to be inspired by), whereas, many brides don't allow themselves the luxury of years but only months. It's a short list of people I'd trust to capture my day...and they all evoke classic style, romance and joy.
Jose Villa evokes beauty, a quirky sense of humor and clean lines throughout his work. I actually believe the look of film allows the romantic undertones of your wedding to ruminate long after the fragrance of your bouquet leaves your nostrils. I've met Jose on several occasions as a colleague and he'd be a great guy to have around for one of the most important days of my life.
