"Who would you have photograph your own wedding?" is a question I get asked every now and then as a single wedding photographer. Over the past couple of years, I've stocked a folder of Safari bookmarks with wedding photographers I'd trust to shoot my own wedding (pending the lovely bride's approval of course). It's a short list, people.
Inspiration for my work isn't mined from wedding photography...I graze from pastures of talent much richer than can be found in the wedding photography niche; however, these photographers I'll share with you over the course of this week inspire me...they inspire me to become a better wedding photographer, take pride in the craft of fine art weddings and see life in new & romantic ways. They see a world I'm familiar with.
Gertrude & Mabel shoot film, exhibit a classic eye and possess a penchant for moments. Based out of San Francisco...happy to travel...their photographs radiate classic fun, joy and tenderness.
