Sometimes I lay awake at night conjuring up a master plan on how to keep my boys from growing up. It'll be grand. Genius. Priceless, even. I'll bottle it up and sell it to every parent. Until I can freeze the maturation of children, I'll just have to keep photographing them.

So, so true - I too simply want to forever carry my almost seven year old daughter in my pocket... but isn't it truly amazing that no matter how much they grow we always have room to carry them in our heart? It's so bittersweet because with one hand we desperately hold on to their babyhood, infancy and childhood and yet it's such a privilege and comfort to be able to guide them with the other and watch them grow, happy and healthy...
These photos are absolutely beautiful as are your boys.

It is true - as a parent I would love to freeze time and keep my baby girls from growing up. I look at them and am amazed at how quickly time gets away from me. Amazing photos as always.
