FRED EGAN:
Matt <<< Thanks for the HOTness! As far as dynamic range...that was all about finding the light on that day...it was overcast and on the verge of raining. God lent me his softbox that day so the lighting was pretty consistent. HDR...I've never created n HDR image. As most of you know, I shoot between f/1.2-f/3.5 99% of the time in order to capture a soft, life-as-seen feel to my photographs.
(05.23.08 07:51 AM)
Matt:
Fred, the new site and blog are smokin' HOT! I love the images from this wedding! How do you get so much dynamic range in your images? Some look almost HDR-esque but knowing you, they're just straight up awesomeness! Keep up the awesome work!
(05.23.08 02:23 AM)

help wanted: signature images
We all need help sometimes...me, more so than others. My list of thanks would be way too long to display here. I need your help in recognizing my signature images!

When you think/hear FRED EGAN, which wedding images of mine (if any at all) come to mind? I've posted a few below that already embody the editorial, fun, lifestyle characteristics that my eye gravitates toward. Moments, portraits, details...

Leave me your choices in the comments by describing it the best way you can :)
Heather Espana:
I know you posted this a while ago, but here's my take: The first and the last images you posted here are ones I think of as having the Fred Egan stamp. They're all fantastic of course (smile), but those two describe what I think of as being Signature Egan. Why? LIGHT and LAUGHTER.

I just finished up a sample album from an awesome wedding in Malibu, CA. Take a peek if you'd like below. By the way, I use the fine folks at Leather Craftsmen to produce my albums. They do quite nifty work.
